Sustainability

Campus Sustainability – Global Farm

教师和学生共同规划和建造了我们的学校农场, 将一块沙漠土地改造成一个工作农场，巧妙地用洗过的石头和回收的托盘板制成围栏, 一个由当地艺术家丹·米勒焊接而成的美丽的蜂巢形大门, and growing beds amended with our own compost, occupied by tomatoes, squash, peppers, peas and more.

Compost

Do you begin with the farm or the compost, 因为在VVS，这两者绝对是密不可分的. Dining Hall

VVS食堂工作人员每天三次为我们的社区提供有机食品, locally sourced real food. Our cooks emphasize fresh and seasonal meals, have developed partnerships with local farms, 开发代表我们全球社区的全球菜单，并将学生营养, food quality and taste at the forefront of all they do.
Student Sustainability
一个由学生领导的小组，定期开会，并在学校实施环境友好的做法和改变. No change is too small. The group asks itself three guiding questions:
- What do we use and how much?
- What do we produce and where does it go?
- What are the habits and rhythms of our daily and seasonal life?
